Welcome Lauralee Lilly

Today I was invited out with my brother and his growing family to take updated shots of them before the next baby comes into this world, they have decided to name her Lauralee and she should be in our arms by Tuesday night! Saddly they never had the oppertunity to take maternity photos of their first little girl so I offered to take some now. It was such a great day! I loved being out in a new place. It was amazing to get pictures of their beautiful little family! We spent almost 3 hours walking all over Murray Memorial Park. I took over 200 shots of their family to make sure I got the best they had to offer! I ended up keeping 105 shots and another 60 in a folder that I call Just 4 Fun! Which are photos that aren't really clear or the family wasn't paying attention but they are very cute photos and are wonderful memories. The rest were junk, too blurred to know who was who or cut someones body part off. =) That happens from time to time when you don't have a tri-pod! Ha Ha

Well here are my top picks! I just love these photos!

These are my favorite maternity photos. They are really amazing! I can't believe how great they all turned out! I'm not even near a professional level yet but I am getting closer and closer!

Thank you all for reading and enjoying another photo filled blog!

A Funny Finish

This is such a funny story. So for ever I have seen that Scrapbookers all over the place cover tins, boxes, & totes with colorful paper and ribbons to decorate them and make them look like what they aren't. I have loved this idea! Especially because you can make your whole set up match! So I started with my new fabric flower case that is really a Sharpie Mini's store display tub. I started with the cap because, where it is positioned on my desk you can't see the sides, only the cap. Well I cut out a circle in dark brown paper and glued it down. Then realised I still needed to finish a few other things about the house. So I put it down, forgot about it. That was closer to three months ago. ^.^ I have looked at it day after day and thought to my self, "I really need to finish that." But then got caught up doing something else. I can't believe how long it has taken me to get it done. Its just a little 3 inch circle, sitting there starring at me, and I never took care of it. Well, today I am proud to say that I have finished the cap! It turned out super cute! I still haven't done the sides to finish covering up the label but to be honest I don't think that I ever will, just because you really can't see them from where the tub sits. But I might.

A Cricut Event!

So yesterday after I got paid for my wonderful birthday cards I went on a shopping spree, after taking my hubby out for a very yummy breakfast! I went to Michael's to look for Clarence items and hopefully an amazing cricut sale, since that is usually where I can find the best deals when I have money to buy crafty things. They had alot of great Clarence! I even got a new stamp pad originally 7$ for .01, that's right a penny! And another ink pad for only .60!! It was amazing! I also got a brand new Martha Stewart Poesy punch that dry embosses while it cuts for 4.25$ because the box was open! It works beautifully!

I also picked up a few single stamps that were originally priced at 3.99$ for only .99!! My favorite thing that I got from that store was a beautiful cling stamp set of 4 originally 13$ for only 1.46! How flipping amazing is that!!!!

Well after I went to Michael's I went down to JoAnns. I was looking for a sale on paper because I need to restock on plain card stock and my glitter pack. But because there was no Cricut sale at my first stop I had to see if JoAnns was having one before I did anything else. I wanted to make sure that I got at least one new cartridge since I never get them due to price. So anyway, after grabbing a hand basket and sifting throughout the new magazines I strolled over to their cricut section. I start looking at all the cartridges before I look at any of the signs. Most of them had the "Sold Out" tag showing. I remember thinking to myself "Hmm, they really need to order more. Why is like all of them empty?" Then I looked up to see this giant yellow and red sign saying all Cricut Cartridges 89.99$ were on sale for 29.99$ I ran to customer service to first check to make sure I wasn't dreaming and second to see if they had the two cartridges that have topped my "Wish List" for the better part of two years. Turns out they did! I got in line and waited for my precious purchase to be completed! I really needed paper but I really wanted those two cricut cartridges and I just couldn't pass this sale up! I probably won't be getting more cartridges anytime soon so I had to buy while I could. They are amazing! I still can't believe that they are mine! When I woke up this morning the first thing I did (even before feeding the kids) was run to my Scrapbooking corner and check to make sure they were really there and that I didn't just dream the whole thing! Guess what, they were really there!!!

I only wish that I had more money to be able to buy more! This is the time to buy people!! Cricut Cartridges are expensive and this sale makes them very affordable! BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!

A Pawsitively Purrfect Promise!

Here at Pawsitively Purrfect Memories we have a "Look & Love" policy! If you look at your product and you don't absolutely love it we will replace it for no additional cost or refund you your money. With the large order of 19 Birthday cards that I just recently finished there was a problem with one of the cards. So because of that I came right home and made her up a new card. (That was the option she chose) She likes this new card and I was happy to help make her love my product!

This was the first card.

And this is the new card that I made up to replace it! I agree, this one is much better then that one! **Especially for a Boy!

Mother's Day Cards

That's right everyone! Here is the post that I know you all have been looking forward to! These are the cards that I made for the very special Mother's in my life!

First up is the one that I made for my mother-in-law. She hasn't seen it yet because everytime I see her I seem to forget the card at home! =( But I am sure she will like it. She is a crazy plant lady so I made sure to put that love on this card.

Then I made sure to get a card sent out to a very special woman that gladly puts up with my Hubby and I eating all her food every third sunday! Ha Ha Ha This one was for my step mother-in-law and from what I hear she absolutely loved it. I'm glad! It was a great card to work on!

Now on to my mummzy! I am always careful to make sure that the cards I make for family and friends are a little personal, I enjoy adding things that they enjoy and on this one for my mom I added this great stamp of a Mommy horse and a Baby horse! My Mom loved it!

Last but most certainly not least is the card that I made for my amazing Super Hero sister-in-law! Her favorite color is Purple so I just knew that this was the card for her! Turns out I was right! She loved it!

Thank you for enjoying another fun, picture filled posting!

Cards #23 - #28

I have finished my wonderful order of 19 Birthday Cards! They all turned out amazing! I just can't believe what an amazing journey this all has been! Seriously, it was a crazy challenge but I loved pushing myself! Here are the last pictures of the cards that we ordered!

First up is a fun card for a woman, I got to use my new Stampin' Up Stamp set that I got about a month ago. I also used my sketchy birthday stamps. And a couple rhinestones here and there! Its one of my favorite cards!

Next up is a birthday card for a little boy. Its simple but super happy!

This next card is probably my all time favorite! I love the color green! It is compatable with so many other wonderful colors! Plus tri-fold cards are always a fun surprise! =)

Spring is amazing! It brings all the best colors! Bright blues, yellows, pale oranges, light green, white! The best part, they all love to mingle! These colors just love to party together!!

It was so fantastic to see the pleased look on my customers face! I love that my crafts can bring such joy to someone!
Thank you so much to all of you for fallowing my blog!
