So on the 30th of March my very special friend Mrs. Rebecca brought home my new son, his name is Brydda and he is a mini lop/dwarf rabbit. He is such a sweetheart and I love having him home with us!
Well, not only did Mrs. Rebecca bring home my Brydda baby and the amazing starter kit to get us set up for our first bunny, but she also brought me some amazing scrapbooking products that she no longer needed. She used to be a Stampin Up demonstrator and had a lot of great stuff from Stampin Up that she was ready to let go of. She gave me so much that there is no way that I could take photographs of it all and show you, so you'll have to take my word on how freaking amazing it all was!
What I'm about to tell you will just add proof to how great it all was!
So, a day or so after Brydda and all the "new" goodies came home my Hubby was feeling a bit ignored and wanted my attention back on him. So while I was still sleeping in the morning he drove down to our local craft store which is JoAnns and stood in the stamping isle for a good 30 minutes (or so he says, but knowing him it was probably closer to an hour) staring at ink pads. I have been talking for a while about needing a new white ink pad. Every time I have the cash to pick one up I find that I always need something else more, usually paper.
Well anyway, there my Husband is standing in the stamping isle in JoAnns staring at ink pads trying to pick out the right one. (My Hubby has never been good at picking things out for me, when he does pick its perfect but most of the time he stresses too much and just feels miserable, so most holidays and birthday I get a gift card.) After the "half hour" of looking he finally picked one out. I love it! It really is perfect! He picked out the A la Mode pigment ink pad by Hampton Arts.
I love my husband and all the little and BIG things that he does for me on an everyday basis!
The though of my husband standing in a craft store actually looking at product really makes me laugh though.
What a Sweetheart!
How about sharing a super wonderful moment that your special someone went above and beyond just because they could. I remember my mom wanting a portable feed bag for her horse but decided to wait on it, my dad went back to the store later that day while she was out and when she got home there was a new feed bag waiting for her. What a fun day that was for her!

We need to Catch Up
My Oh My! It has been forever since I last Updated my poor Blog! So now I have the fun task of catching you up on everything that I have been working on.
First though, let me start of by explaining to you about the past few Inspiration Monday posts. I have tried and tried and tried again to create more amazing cards for the amazing Challenge Blogs but unfortunately I have fallen so short of my overall standards for cards so I have just thrown them away. Its not that the challenges haven't been beyond inspirational or challenging enough, its just that my stress levels have been so high that it shows through in my work. Kind of like the philosophy of "angry cooking." If you cook while you are angry or upset the food always comes out tasting terrible! So this is somewhat applied to my card making and crafting this past month and a half. It is just really hard to concentrate when your upstairs neighbor is always jumping around, they never sleep, work, or go to school! Its none stop and most of the time drives me to sit and read in my car. (I'm really telling the truth about that. Just today I was forced from my home at 5pm and decided to come back in at about 6:48pm just to listen to the thumping and jumping again.) On top of having to deal with that with little help from management I have to see a Chiropractor 3 times a week for the next 3 months due to a auto collision that took my working car and forced me to pick up and hunk of junk car that has cast me a small fortune to try and keep on the road. The stress just keep building and building. **Sorry, I am beginning to whine and complain. Sorry about that. Moving on!
So I just haven't been able to get my head in the game for the Inspiration Monday posts. I am really sorry about that and hopefully I can kick things back into gear and give you the followers and fan of my Blog the fun Challenges again soon!
I have also been really busy working on a few large orders. In the past month I have had an order of 15 photo cards, one photo session, 2 hair bows, then another photo session, an order of 20 cards, and a order of prints, then a fun disk art order! I have actually been really really busy from all of that! =) Its been nice though. After doing all of that I even felt relaxed enough that I could finish a 12x12 Scrapbook page.
Alright, now to move on to the fun stuff! Showing off the Orders! Check out the next post for the first!

A Break?

Things just don't want to mellow out for me. Sadly though, because things aren't mellowing out I will be taking a break from my scheduled posts. I just can't seem to keep up with it all and I am becoming more and more forgetful about my wonderful posts. So I have decided to stop for now and will hopefully pick it back up in October with a full line up of Lucky Me Blog Candies for the Candy season! I am so sorry to have to do this but I really need a bit of time. I will check in from time to time with the crafts that I have been working on and maybe a new find or deal from time to time.
Thank You for Stopping by! I hope you have a Happy Crafty Day!

Within Reach
So, a while back I entered two of my cards into a design team audition over at Stamptacular Sunday Challege. (*For those of you that don't know what a Design Team member does here is a rough draft. The design team member participates in every weekly challenge as an inspiration to all of those that are trying out the challenge. You also do a few other things but to be honest that all depends on the blog. Some ask you to do a lot and other ask you to very little.*)She was looking for a new set of inspiring Design Team members. The first card I entered into it was the Christmas card that had recently won the first pick from the Top 3 for the week of August 7th. The challenge was a photo inspired challenge and I really felt inspired by the design teams creations so I absolutely had to join in.
I also sent in a picture of the very beautiful Mother's Day card I made for my Mother-in-Law. Which was a yellow and purple flourish bird card. I sent in two cards that had little embellishments and lots of stamps and inking techniques. (They do call it STAMPtacular for a reason.)
I have waited two long weeks to find out if I was one of the very lucky few that did get in for the new Design Team .. .. ..
Sadly though, I was not chosen to be apart of the new Design Team. There is good news though. The reason I wasn't chosen was not because they were not impressed with my work. The way it was described to me by Miss Cill is that due to having so many people submit their lovely works of art she had to call in some help to try and make the decisions a little easier. After several hours of still no luck in narrowing it all down they ended up having everyone select their top 3 and putting the names in a cup and taking turns drawing names. So out of luck the new Design Team for Stamptacular was born. There is absolutly wonderful news though, I have been selected as a Runner Up. Which means that if for any reason, one of the new Design Team members fall short of the duties I get to step up as a full Team Member! I can also try for her monthly guest design team member!
Now, I realise how this can be confussing because I am so happy even through I did not get the position. Well that's because I set a goal and reached it. Although I did not make it as a Design Team member I have confidence that I soon will be a full and active member. =) Miss Cill gets new Design Team members every six months so I will be entering again and again. =) This is all such a big step for me and its in the right direction! This is one huge step closer to being published which is my long term goal!
Thanks a million to Miss Cill and everyone over at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog for this wonderful oppertunity! I loved being able to be apart of this spectacular experience. I also owe a large thank you to my wonderful Husband that pushed me to do this and have trust in my work.

A Sad Post

Well do to life happening, people being human, and things being hectic I at this time have to choose to let go of 2 scheduled posts. I am so sad to have to do this but things are so crazy right now that I keep missing posts and that is so not fair to any of you! Let me start with the good news, I have decided to keep up with Manic Challenge Monday but it will be under a different title. Now, simply, it will be called Inspirati♥n Monday. The other one I would like to keep up with is Think Link Thursday, but it will be moving to Tuesday to be sure that I remember it, its title is changing as well to True Link Tuesday(It flows better.)! I am so sorry that everything keeps going weird around the blog but hopefully this will help make things level out and stay consistent. I will be back on other days with all of my random other projects and possible orders. So be sure to keep checking back with me for all of the fun and picture filled posts! =)
Again, I am so sorry for all of this. Today is Monday and I will be posting my newly titled Inspirati♥n Monday post!
Thank you for joining me and sticking by for all of this crazy news.

A Sad Day
I have decided to close out the Pawsitively Purrfect Memories Facebook account. Our lovely little shop is just too little right now to have the use for Facebook, or even to be able to gain more use out of a Facebook account. Saddly this also means that the Facebook Lucky Me Giveaway has ended with no winner.
We did have one person join us on Facebook, and for that one person we are giving her a free card, the card will be of her choice, any card, any color, any occasion. So congrats to Lori! Please e-mail me at vaeaton@live.com with details of the card you need. Thank you for joining us on Facebook.
I do plan to hold another Lucky Me Giveaway, but this time it will be larger at least 5 winners with great prizes! I will be posting this giveaway soon with all the details needed to win! Thanks again for joining me for this sad posting.

A Work in Progress
I totally have loved the idea of Chipboard Mini Albums from the first time I ever picked up a Scrapbooking Magazine! They are amazing and just make the best gifts ever! Unfortunately I am a Dollar Store Crafter. Very rarely do I pay over 3$ for any craft project. I always check out Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and of course my DI (Deseret Industries) for anything I need, including storage systems, paper, stamps, stickers, and odd embellishments! I also carefully watch for the sales at my local Roberts Arts & Crafts, Joanns Fabric Store, and Micheal's! I don't like ordering online so I really never do that. I probably miss out on a lot of great deals but that's ok. I get by just fine by doing what I'm doing! And as we all know chipboard Mini albums are on the more expensive side of things so I have never had the luxery of buying one. Until about 3 weeks ago, I was at the DI and was so excited to see that they had a huge stack of chipboard Cog mini albums from Stampin' UP!!! I'm not sure what year they are from but they are amazing! And super cute! I bought 4 of them at .50 cents a piece! What a steal! I originally bought them to give as gifts for Father's Day but what I had planned just isn't going to work out so I have decided to use them to celebrate my children! I am working on my oldest right now and I have pictures for you to enjoy as well! They don't have my logo on them so please do not steal them, use them for inspiration only. Thank you.
This is what my Mini Album looked like before I dug into my project!

I love the Cog! I really wish I had some clock work stamps! They would've looked awesome on this!

My oldest is Smokey (Male age 9) so I chose darker colors and boxy patterns. They totally match his personality! What a fun project!

That's only half the album! I am loving how it is all coming together!! I will post pictures of the finished product very soon! Thanks again for reading and have a very Happy Paper Crafting Day! Don't forget to stop by our Facebook and become a fan to be entered into special Lucky Me Giveaways!

Welcome!!
Hello, my name is Virginia Eaton and I am proud to start this blog and share my work with all of you wonderful Scrapbookers and Card Makers! I was brought into the world of Scrapbooking by a dear friend of mine, her name is Rebecca, she and I hadn't spoken for almost 7 years and then we reconnected on myspace and decided to set up a time to meet and hang out. During the planning of this she asked if I was interested in Scrapbooking, which I was, and so she told me all about her work and her pages and brought most of her things over to my little apartment. She even brought me a 12x12 Album that I could just have. She is amazing and gave me a lot of wonderful starter things, such as paper 12x12 and 8x11, punch outs, scissors, and glue. She has also helped me pay for pictures more times then I can remember. We would stay up until the early hours of the morning scrapbooking and laughing and talking about the good times, the old and the new. In one month we both had finished and entire album! The work that we did together was amazing and now because of that time together my first Scrapbook pages hold even more memories then just the pictures, they hold the memories of those wonderful late nights that were filled with laughs. I sure do miss those days. Rebecca and her wonderful little family got their own house and things are much more complicated now so we don't spend much time together except online. Although I have lost my Scrapbookin' buddy I haven't stopped my work. I continue working on my Albums and my new love of Card Making. Which Rebecca actually got me addicted to as well. But that is a story for another time.
I want to welcome you all to my stories and my Scrapbooking adventures. In future Blogs there will be pictures of my works and or works in progress and the story behind them. I give details of how each page or special embellishments or card was created. Of course as always this blog is here to have fun making memories and sharing them.
Thank you for your time and please enjoy reading the up and coming blog!
